This series documents the mobile sauna developed by BIVAK Studio as part of an ongoing effort toward small-scale, transportable architecture. Designed for up to four users, the structure combines a compact spatial layout with a clear, functional construction logic. The saunas are conceived as prefabricated units, intended for serial production while maintaining a consistent architectural quality.
Each unit is equipped with wheels, allowing for easy relocation and transportation across different sites and landscapes. The system is designed to adapt to a range of environments, from private settings to more remote or temporary contexts. Two versions are planned: a wood-fired model and an electrically heated alternative, offering flexibility in use depending on location and infrastructure.
The project reflects an interest in mobility, adaptability, and the relationship between built form and its surroundings, positioning the sauna as both an object and a spatial experience.
